Important Note: The unit is supplied without a power plug. For operation at maximum currents, the unit must be equipped with a 32A 230V single-phase power plug (not included).

The SOLARIS TIG-220 AC/DC Welding Inverter allows welding in TIG and MMA modes. The machine is equipped with a 3-meter TIG torch. The TIG torch is equipped with a control switch.

AC/DC TIG - alternating/direct current in TIG mode.
AC TIG - alternating current mode allows welding even difficult materials like aluminum, brass, bronze, and their various alloys.
DC TIG - welding with a non-consumable tungsten electrode in a shielding gas environment (primarily argon) with direct current is used for welding any carbon, low-alloy or high-alloy steel, including stainless steel, and heavy non-ferrous metals such as copper, nickel, titanium (except aluminum) and their alloys. TIG welding allows for neat, precise, and fine welds, which are difficult to achieve with other modes.

Arc ignition is performed via high-frequency discharge (TIG HF), facilitating arc start and significantly reducing electrode tip wear and deformation.
Pre-Gas Mode: Pre-flow time adjustment to purge the torch before welding.
Post-Gas Mode: Post-flow time adjustment to protect the weld and cool the torch after welding.
AC Balance Control: Adjustment of the positive/negative half-wave ratio (for AC mode only).
Down Slope Mode: Adjustable time for smooth current decrease after welding to prevent crater formation.

MMA - classic manual metal arc welding with a covered electrode using an electrode holder.

Key Features:

  • True AC/DC TIG Power: Weld aluminum, magnesium, and alloys with AC TIG, and steel, stainless, copper, etc., with DC TIG. Full 200A output for both.

  • Professional TIG Features: HF (High-Frequency) start, adjustable AC Balance, Pre/Post Gas flow, and Down Slope for perfect weld starts and finishes.

  • Complete Premium Kit: Includes a 3m Series 26 TIG torch (with switch), 5m gas hose with quick-connects, 3m electrode holder, 3m ground clamp, welding helmet, and cleaning tools.

  • High-Performance Specs: 60% duty cycle at 200A (20°C), stable operation from 150V input, suitable for professional use.

  • Dual MMA Capability: Also functions as a powerful 200A MMA (stick) welding machine.

  • Digital Control & Display: User-friendly interface for precise parameter adjustment.
